It began with the buying
of the male dog " Northington 's agile " of Mrs. M. Droemont in the year
1964. This male dog was many times shown and was a winner in 1968 of
the usefulness examination for all districts at the LJV-circuit area of
Haßfurt. With that was the first Basset-Hound with a hunting
examination in Germany. In February 1971 " Barrabooka Elderberry " of Mrs.
J. C. Wilson from Great Britain was added. Out of her fell then on
28.07.1971 the A-Litter in the kennel " Mainbridge ". At the beginning
of the 80er years we have then had orientate our breeding on the base of '
La Manzanera Basset 's. Our it was always effort not to afflict with a
hereditary disease, and to breed nice and powerful dogs.
One to this all our dogs
have several hunting certificates. Our dogs live with us on an
over 1000 m2 garden in a suburb in a rural area. They can more
free live in the house and the garden. The night they spend in the
heated dogs-house, or in our house. We both are at home all the time.
There is between human being and dog a very close connection what is
very positive for the.
We give away our whelps
earliest 11. or 12th life-week. By it they have the most important
building phases already run through, who they leave our house.
We are member in the Basset Hound-club, in the Association for the German
dogs and the FCI.
